A Valuable Gift

By Stephen Krupnik | December, 29, 2009

On November 1, most people in the US were given a gift. This gift was of such great value that it cannot be purchased anywhere at any price. It's something that people will tell you they never have enough of - however, when given more of it - they don't know what to do with it. And most people didn't even acknowledge receiving this gift. What did they receive? Time.
Because of the switch from daylight savings time - November 1 was actually a 25 hour day. Okay, at this point you may be saying to yourself "Come on Steve, what's the big deal? It was only an hour." Your statement would be correct. However, it's not nearly as important how long the extra amount of time was. What is important is how you filled that time.

Because you can never get it back. Every day each one of us wakes up with the same 1440 minutes. That's all there is - and it levels the playing field between all of us. And the reason I'm telling you this is because over the years with the number of highly successful people I've studied - I've discovered that what they do with their time proved to be the biggest deciding factor to their success.

Not intelligence - not knowledge - not wisdom - but time.

That being said, don't you feel it would be a wise thing to examine how productive your time is spent, both when working in the pawn shop and when you're away from work? Of course it would be. But not only is it a wise thing to do - it is also something that's critical to the success in your career, and in your life. This is because it's much too valuable to waste.

This is also why I've included hundreds of ways to make your time more productive in the Pawn Shop Performer(tm) http://www.pawnshopperformer.com/ coaching program. But here's the key. Making your time more productive really has nothing to do with working any harder - but it does have everything to do with working smarter. But you don't need to take my word for it.

Here's a direct quote from a pawn shop worker who's a member of the program:

"Steve, I never knew it was so simple to get so much done in one day. Working here at the pawn shop with all the constant interruptions every day would drive me crazy. I felt like I never got anything done. But thanks to what you teach in the program I'm now the most valuable and productive employee in the store. Thanks for all the great tips and keep them coming."

You're welcome - it's my pleasure. Funny thing is, I know exactly what he's talking about. You probably due too. So if being more productive and valuable, both as a pawnbroker, and in your private life is something that's of interest to you, now may be the time you should consider becoming a member of the Pawn Shop Performer(tm) http://www.pawnshopperformer.com/ coaching program.

Because in our lives we do receive many valuable gifts. But only if you know what to do with these gifts will you end up benefiting from them. Even if you could only take one hour per week with the Pawn Shop Performer(tm) http://www.pawnshopperformer.com/ to either read the workbook - listen to the CDs - or watch the DVDs, you will rapidly begin to experience these benefits. And the best thing is you'll experience them for the rest of your life.
